I am a Danish Folk Musician and Troubadour, with focus on Music performance in the traditional Danish Folk Music style, with vocals and acoustic guitar. I am a musician who supports Danish culture in America. I often play for Scandinavian organizations or at libraries or museums. I am also available for private musical performance. See my performance options page.To be a Danish Troubadour is rather a new experience for me. I have in the past played more music from the Eastern European countries as well as many American folk songs. That is how the name Samarkandfolk came to be. Samarkand being the cultural melting pot of Euro/Asia. Since the fall of 2009 I have gone back to my Danish roots and perform solely in my native language.
